DUE TO OUR STRATEGIC FOCUS AND A CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP AS A RESULT OF THE NEW COMPANIES ACT ( 71 OF 2008 ), TCD WAS RE-BRANDED TO INTERMODAL CARGO SOLUTIONS (ICS) FORMING AN INDEPENDENT ENTITY.
WITH GLOBAL MARKETS STILL IN TURMOIL IN 2012 AND, IN ORDER FOR THE GROUP TO THRIVE IN A MARKET OF UNCERTAINTY, CONTINUED INVESTMENT IN INFRASTRUCTURE BECAME NECESSARY. ADDITIONAL CAPITAL EXPENDITURE TO UPGRADE AND EXPAND FACILITIES LED TO THE RELOCATION OF THE DURBAN OPERATION TO A STATE OF THE ART FACILITY ADJACENT TO THE NEW DURBAN PORT SITE WITH ADDITIONAL EXPANSION PLANNED IN CAPE TOWN AND JOHANNESBURG.

THE FIRST GRADUATE WHOSE STUDIES WERE FUNDED BY THE FUND COMPLETED HER THREE (3) YEAR IT DIPLOMA IN 2009 AND IS NOW WORKING IN JOHANNESBURG.
